Expo 1851 – London

The first World Exhibition of Industry and Culture was held in London in 1851. The Crystal Palace built specifically for the exhibition was designed by Joseph Paxton - gardener by profession. His idea to place the exhibition in a giant glasshouse was innovative and courageous for his time.
This pavillion has no czech authors. It is mentioned here because it was the first Expo in history.
